This Deep Drawn Cans, Caps and Sleeves is an Aunov Tech production part in stainless steel, quoted and built to customer print. In the assembly, the deep drawn tube guides or contains the mating part along its bore. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, keeping first-article quality through scheduled runs without handing the part to another vendor.
Product overview
This metal sleeve is defined by, wall thickness control, flange geometry and the sealing surface, recorded on the inspection report for every batch.
Die building, pressing and machining for this metal sleeve are all in house, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, with the tooling history retained in house.
How it is manufactured
Production follows a defined route: The shell is drawn from a blank in successive stages, annealed where the wall thins; secondary machining holds the seats, threads and faces that forming cannot produce.
Route cards follow each cans, cap batch through the shop, so the next run starts from the data that already worked. That record is what every cans, cap reorder is built on, so nothing changes silently between shipments.
Materials and surface finish
Standard stock includes SPCC / DC01 carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this metal sleeve is costed in carbon steel or stainless.
Coating and polishing are matched to the end use: polishing, zinc / nickel / chrome plating, anodising or powder coating. It is written into the drawing for this metal sleeve, so it cannot drift between batches.
Each cans, cap shipment is verified against the master sample before it leaves the shop. Deviations on the cans, cap are reported before shipment rather than found on your assembly line.
Quality control
Production runs under an ISO 9001 certified quality system: stock arrivals are checked against mill certificates, first-article geometry is confirmed on the CMM, and production batches are inspected on a sampling plan. First article of the cans, cap carries wall thickness data. If the assembly calls for torque, leak or pressure proof, the test is built into the quality plan, with certificates included in the shipment file.
Applications
The metal sleeve is fitted into industrial machinery and equipment assemblies for OEM and Tier-1 customers.
Drawings for this metal sleeve are adapted across programmes, so a single grade and coating can cover each application, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.
Specifications
| Item | Deep Drawn Cans, Caps and Sleeves |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Driven by your drawing or a physical sample – unusual walls, threads or tolerances are feasibility-checked first; the same drawing is used for every repeat order. |
| Tooling | Dies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so the die charge appears as its own quotation line, and first-article timing is measured from the tooling start date. |
| Samples | First-article samples ship with a dimensional report and material certificate, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample. |
| Materials | Carbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper – the grade is matched to the duty of this sleeve. |
| Surface finish | Finish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; the agreed finish travels with the part number. |
| Processing | Coil blanking and progressive drawing, coining on the final station where the print calls for it; first articles verify the whole flow before the run is released. |
| Equipment | Mechanical presses 5-250 T plus 250-500 T hydraulics, with in-line annealing, with in-house toolmaking to keep dies and fixtures maintained. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.05 mm on drawn diameters, tighter bands confirmed against the drawing; GD&T per drawing, PPAP-style reports on request. |
| Delivery terms | FOB, with DDP offered for EU and US addresses, T/T with deposit and L/C for larger runs; repeat orders reuse the approved first article. |
