Produced in stainless steel by Aunov Tech, the Deep drawn stainless steel tube is formed and machined on the same floor. In the assembly, the deep drawn tube carries fluid or motion through a closed drawn wall. The same floor forms, machines and inspects the part, and a design change is re-sampled in one place with no third party in the loop.
Product overview
What defines this stainless steel tube is, the draw ratio, corner radii and the faces that must stay flat, checked by CMM at first article and by gauge in production.
The whole route from die to finished stainless steel tube stays in house, which keeps revision loops short and samples fast, and the die record stays with your part number.
How it is manufactured
This is how the stainless steel tube is built: Blanks are drawn in stages, with interstage annealing where the wall thins; the part is annealed between stages so the wall thins evenly.
Process settings are archived with the part number, and the same setup is reused on the next call-off.
Materials and finishing
Standard stock includes carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper with this stainless steel tube costed in 304 / 316 stainless steel.
The surface treatment is picked to match the service conditions: zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. It is fixed on the drawing for this stainless steel tube, so repeat orders never reopen the question.
Production batches of the tube are gauged back to the signed first article, not to a memory of it. Process settings for the tube are archived, so later runs can be compared with the one you approved.
Quality control and inspection
Quality management is certified to ISO 9001: mill certificates cover every delivery of stock, the CMM measures the first article dimension by dimension, and later batches follow the sampling plan agreed at approval. First-article measurement of the tube includes wall thickness. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, and the report is packed with the shipment.
Where the part is used
This stainless steel tube normally works inside industrial equipment and general assembly work across automotive, appliance and industrial programmes.
A single design of this stainless steel tube is often reused across a product family, so one approved version covers the whole range, and the same first article applies throughout.
Specifications
| Item | Deep drawn stainless steel tube |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Send drawings, or send a sample to be measured – samples are reverse-measured into a controlled drawing; the approved drawing is kept as the controlled master. |
| Tooling | Die design and toolmaking stay in house, so the die charge appears as its own quotation line, and the charge is refundable against agreed volumes. |
| Samples | Sample parts are measured and reported before submission, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample. |
| Materials | Stock runs to carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; mill certificates and heat numbers accompany the first article. |
| Surface finish | Finish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; alternatives quoted with the quotation, samples approved in writing. |
| Processing | Deep drawing on maintained presses, blank size and lubrication logged per run; batch records are filed so a repeat order starts from approved data. |
| Equipment | Mechanical presses 5-250 T plus 250-500 T hydraulics, with in-line annealing; secondary ops run on CNC turning centres, inspection on the CMM. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.03 mm on turned secondary features, +/-0.1 mm on as-drawn walls; capability is checked on the first article before the run continues. |
| Delivery terms | FOB, CIF or DDP per Incoterms 2020, T/T with deposit and L/C for larger runs; each volume tier carries its own quoted price. |
