Wiper motor yoke

Wiper motor yoke
Wiper motor yoke

The Wiper motor yoke is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. In service, the wiper motor housing protects the motor windings while the output shaft takes the wipe load. Forming, machining and inspection share one floor, which keeps tolerances consistent from sample to volume under one roof.

Product overview

The drawing for this metal yoke fixes, draw depth, wall band and the surfaces that forming cannot hold, all held to the drawing and verified at first article.

Toolroom, presses and machining centres used on this metal yoke operate on the same site, so revisions do not wait on outside suppliers, and the same die can be re-cut from the original data.

How the part is produced

Production of this metal yoke is locked to one route: Drawing converts a flat blank into the finished envelope in one controlled sequence; the part is annealed between stages so the wall thins evenly.

Each shipment is traceable to the signed first article, and that record is what every reorder is built from.

Materials and finishing

Working stock covers carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and this metal yoke runs in carbon steel or stainless.

The finish is chosen for the environment the part sees: zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. It is written into the drawing for this metal yoke, so it cannot drift between batches.

The approved sample governs later runs, so material and finish stay consistent between shipments.

Quality control

Production runs under an ISO 9001 certified quality system: incoming material is verified against mill certificates, first-article geometry is confirmed on the CMM, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. Part-specific checks apply as well: on the wiper motor housing, output-shaft bore runout is checked on every first article, and seal seats are gauged for burr-free assembly. Tests for torque, leakage or pressure can be arranged when the service demands them, and the batch file carries the results.

Applications

This metal yoke normally works inside vehicle and under-bonnet assemblies in volume programmes as well as aftermarket supply.

The same metal yoke is used across several platforms, so one approved version covers the whole range, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.

DesigningMade to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; changes are priced before they are made.
ToolingDies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so no tooling step is outsourced, and ownership is confirmed on the quotation.
SamplesPre-production samples come with a full inspection report, so the sample is retained as the master, and production starts only after your written sign-off.
MaterialsCarbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper – the grade is matched to the duty of this yoke.
Surface finishZinc or nickel plating for corrosion, plus powder coating or electrophoresis on housings; laser etching on request.
ProcessingCoil blanking, progressive drawing through 3-5 stages with anneals between, trim and pierce, then deburr and finish.
Equipment5-250 T mechanical presses and 250-500 T hydraulic presses, in-line annealing furnace, CNC turning for secondary work.
