Painted Steel Deep Drawn Faceplate with Cutouts

Painted Steel Deep Drawn Faceplate with Cutouts
Painted Steel Deep Drawn Faceplate with Cutouts

A painted steel faceplate with cutouts, drawn shallow then punched and painted. The shallow draw gives the faceplate stiffness across its width so it will not oil-can in service, while the paint finish matches consumer product housings.

What Makes It Work

  • Paint is applied after forming so the coat covers every face, and colors are matched to your product standard.
  • Every piece is deburred and cleaned ahead of packing.
  • Trial quantities are quoted alongside volume pricing, so you can prove the part first.
  • Material: For the faceplate we default to carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print); the grade is locked before tooling starts.
  • Process: deep drawing with in-die trim and pierce on the final station for the faceplate.
  • Finish: painted or powder-coated to the drawing; finish thickness and adhesion are checked on the faceplate first article.
  • Size: Dimensions of the faceplate follow the customer print; specials are quoted from the drawing.
  • Custom: OEM/ODM: send the faceplate drawing, quotation comes back with manufacturability notes.

Applications

Production volumes of this part run in appliance and HVAC assemblies, battery and energy-storage components, lighting reflectors and covers.

Our Production Advantage

Maintenance on the faceplate die is triggered by stroke count, not by guesswork. First articles are inspected on the CMM, production is sampled against the same dimensions, and any drift stops the press.

Send the faceplate drawing for a quotation with material advice and sample lead times.
