Steel Cone and Flange Turned Components

The Brass CNC Turned Components is produced by Aunov Tech from brass, formed and finished under one roof. In operation, the CNC machined part carries the controlled features that forming alone cannot hold. One production floor covers forming, finishing and inspection, so the approved sample defines every later batch on one production route.

Product overview

This brass component is defined by, wall thinning, concentricity and the finished mating faces, recorded on the inspection report for every batch.

Tooling and finishing for this brass component run under one roof, so a drawing change is absorbed in one step, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.

How it is manufactured

This is how the brass component is built: Material is sawn and then turned, milled and drilled on CNC centres; tight features are held in one setup so concentricity does not depend on re-chucking.

Every cone order keeps its trace back to the approved first article, and a reorder is a repeat rather than a new start. Any change to the cone drawing is re-approved and re-verified before production continues.

Materials and surface finish

Our stock list runs to carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and this brass component runs in H62 brass.

The surface treatment is picked to match the service conditions: polishing, zinc / nickel / chrome plating, anodising or powder coating. The finish on this brass component is locked to the drawing revision, so later orders match.

Dimensional reports, material certificates and PPAP levels are available on request.

Quality control

Quality management is certified to ISO 9001: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, the first article is CMM-measured against the print, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. For the cone, first articles are CMM measured and threads are gauged to class. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, and the batch file carries the results.

Applications

This brass component is used in industrial equipment and general assembly work for customers who buy to drawing.

The same brass component is often run in more than one assembly, so a single grade and coating can cover each application, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.

Customization and options

Frequently varied options in this cone family

Points customers normally tailor on this brass component: material grade, coating, wall bands, flange form and end closure, and whether the first order is a prototype, a pilot lot or a production release.

Each quote for this brass component states which variations are already tooled, so new tooling is only quoted where it is genuinely required. The cone reorder shows the same split as the original quotation.

BrandAUNOV
DesigningMade to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – a manufacturability review comes back with the quotation; the agreed version governs every later batch.
ToolingDies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so a die can be re-cut against the approved drawing, and first-article timing is measured from the tooling start date.
SamplesSample parts are measured and reported before submission, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample.
MaterialsH62 / H65 brass, 0.8-4.0 mm, selected for conductivity, fine surface detail and corrosion resistance on this component.
Surface finishPlating, powder coating, anodising or polishing, per the print; alternatives quoted with the quotation, samples approved in writing.
ProcessingCNC turning from bar or billet, concentricity held across operations; every stage is logged against your part number.
Equipment12 CNC turning centres with automatic bar feeders; first articles and batch samples are checked on the CMM.
Tolerance+/-0.01 mm on machined faces, +/-0.05 mm on formed details; GD&T per drawing, PPAP-style reports on request.
Delivery termsCIF or DDP, with FOB available, T/T or L/C, with D/P accepted on repeat business; call-off schedules are supported.

Packaging and delivery

Packaging protects the finished surfaces of this brass component: interleaves, bags or trays are matched to the surface treatment, in sealed cartons on export pallets, documented and marked to your instruction.
