Stainless sensor probe tubes cut in multiple lengths from one drawn lot. Same bore, same wall, different lengths – so replacement probes behave identically regardless of which length you install.
Function and Design
The sensor probe tube is small in the bill of materials and large in the warranty claim when it goes wrong. Any drift in the sensor probe tube process is corrected at the machine, not sorted out at inspection.
