Aunov Tech manufactures the Oxygen sensor sleeves in stainless steel on a single production floor. On the product, the sensor housing protects the electronics from vibration, fluid and electromagnetic noise. Die work, machining and CMM inspection are all in-house, and a design change is re-sampled in one place without handing the part to another vendor.
Product overview
The critical features of this metal sensor are, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, each measured at first article and gauged on production batches.
Die building, pressing and machining for this metal sensor are all in house, so the route from print to sample stays short, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.
How the part is produced
This is how the metal sensor is built: Coil is blanked and drawn through progressive and single-stage dies; flanges and rims are formed in the same line, then trimmed to length.
Oxygen sensor sleeve work is unforgiving: a few hundredths in the wrong place and the assembly will not go together. The oxygen sensor sleeve is checked against the drawing at each stage, not only at final inspection.
Materials and surface finish
Materials kept on the floor cover SPCC / DC01 carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this metal sensor runs in carbon steel or stainless.
Because the part works in contact with media, the coating is chosen for cleanliness: polishing, plating in zinc, nickel or chrome, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The agreed finish for this metal sensor travels with the part number on every reorder.
Material certificates and dimensional reports are available on request.
Quality control
An ISO 9001 certified system governs production: material traceability starts with mill certificates, a full CMM report approves the first article, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. Every oxygen sensor sleeve batch carries thread gauging and seal face inspection. If the assembly calls for torque, leak or pressure proof, the test is built into the quality plan, and results travel with the batch paperwork.
Applications
This metal sensor normally works inside sensor and thermostat assemblies for customers who buy to drawing.
A single design of this metal sensor is often reused across a product family, so the tightest tolerance in the family sets the spec, and approvals carry across programmes.
Specifications
| Item | Oxygen sensor sleeves |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Made to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; the same drawing is used for every repeat order. |
| Tooling | Die design and toolmaking stay in house, so die cost stays transparent, and maintenance is tracked against the part number. |
| Samples | Prototype and pre-production samples are provided against the drawing, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and mass production is gated on that approval. |
| Materials | Carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass are all held in stock; grade and temper are confirmed in writing before tooling. |
| Surface finish | Finish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; finish thickness and adhesion checked on the first article. |
| Processing | Drawn shell with machined seats and threads where the print calls for them; batch records are filed so a repeat order starts from approved data. |
| Equipment | Press line for drawing, CNC cells for finishing; first articles and batch samples are checked on the CMM. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.01 mm on turned or milled features, +/-0.03 mm on formed details; dimensional reports accompany the first article. |
| Delivery terms | CIF or DDP, with FOB available, payment by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P; each volume tier carries its own quoted price. |
