The Custom NTC sensor housing is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. On the product, the sensor housing carries the active element while passing the signal through a sealed exit. One production floor covers forming, finishing and inspection, which keeps tolerances consistent from sample to volume under one roof.
Product overview
The drawing for this metal sensor fixes, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, all held to the drawing and verified at first article.
The press shop and machine shop that make this metal sensor share one floor, so feasibility questions are answered on the shop floor, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.
How it is manufactured
Production of this metal sensor is locked to one route: The shell is drawn from a blank in successive stages, annealed where the wall thins; wall thickness is checked at the thinnest section after forming.
The closed-end sleeve tooling and setup record is stored against the part number, so nothing depends on someone remembering. The approved closed-end sleeve sample governs later runs, and any grade change is agreed in writing first.
Materials and finishing
Our stock list runs to cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this metal sensor runs in carbon steel or stainless.
The finish is chosen for a clean working surface: polishing, plating in zinc, nickel or chrome, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The choice is recorded on the drawing for this metal sensor, so the decision never has to be made twice.
Full documentation set available: material certs, dimensional reports, first article files.
Quality control
The factory operates with ISO 9001 certification: material traceability starts with mill certificates, the CMM measures the first article dimension by dimension, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. Threads are gauged and seal faces inspected on each closed-end sleeve batch. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, and results travel with the batch paperwork.
Applications
This metal sensor is used in sensor and thermostat assemblies in both OEM and aftermarket supply.
One part number for this metal sensor frequently serves several assemblies, so a single grade and coating can cover each application, and the die does not have to change.
Customization and options
Frequently varied options in this closed-end sleeve family
Typical decisions customers make on this metal sensor: material and coating for the duty, wall bands, flange forms, threads and bosses, closed ends and finishes matched to the working environment, and the batch pattern – prototype, pilot lot or scheduled production.
The quotation for this metal sensor marks what the existing tooling can do, so the cost of a change is visible before you commit. Tooling ownership for the closed-end sleeve is part of the written quotation.
Specifications
| Item | Custom NTC sensor housing |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Send drawings, or send a sample to be measured – unusual walls, threads or tolerances are feasibility-checked first; the same drawing is used for every repeat order. |
| Tooling | Our toolroom covers die design, wire-cut EDM and maintenance, so a die can be re-cut against the approved drawing, and the charge is refundable against agreed volumes. |
| Samples | Sample approval is documented: dimensions, finish and material recorded for later comparison. |
| Materials | Carbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass are held on site; grade and temper are confirmed in writing before tooling. |
| Surface finish | Plating, coating or polishing to suit the drawing; the agreed finish travels with the part number. |
| Processing | Deep drawing on hydraulic presses, CNC-finished where tolerances tighten; in-process checks sit between stages, not only at the end. |
| Equipment | Hydraulic presses for drawing, with CNC turning for finishing, with in-house toolmaking to keep dies and fixtures maintained. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.01 mm on sealing faces, +/-0.05 mm on drawn profiles; critical dimensions carry CMM data with the shipment. |
| Delivery terms | FOB, with DDP offered for EU and US addresses, payment by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P; repeat orders reuse the approved first article. |
Packaging and delivery
Packaging protects the finished surfaces of this metal sensor: interleaves, polybags or formed trays are selected according to the coating, in sealed cartons on export pallets, documented and marked to your instruction.
