Produced in stainless steel by Aunov Tech, the Precision Deep Drawn Stainless Steel Metal Stamping Digital Thermometer is formed and machined on the same floor. In service, the deep drawn part combines forming and machining to reach the print on every controlled face. Die work, machining and CMM inspection are all in-house, so repeat orders stay aligned with the approved sample on one production route.

Product overview

This stainless steel component is defined by, the draw ratio, corner radii and the faces that must stay flat, checked by CMM at first article and by gauge in production.

The press shop and machine shop that make this stainless steel component share one floor, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, with the tooling history retained in house.

How it is manufactured

The process for this stainless steel component runs in a fixed sequence: Drawing converts a flat blank into the finished envelope in one controlled sequence; flanges and rims are formed in the same line, then trimmed to length.

Route cards follow each stepped sleeve batch through the shop, so the next run starts from the data that already worked. Process settings for the stepped sleeve are archived, so later runs can be compared with the one you approved.

Materials and finishing

Everything is drawn from a fixed stock list: SPCC / DC01 carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze with this stainless steel component costed in 304 / 316 stainless steel.

The finish is chosen for the duty it will see: plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. Once approved, the finish for this stainless steel component is fixed and does not get re-decided.

Repeat orders are gauged back to the approved first article, so nothing changes silently between orders.

Quality control

The factory operates with ISO 9001 certification: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, the first article is CMM-measured against the print, and later batches follow the sampling plan agreed at approval. For the stepped sleeve, first articles are CMM measured and threads are gauged to class. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, and the inspection report ships with each batch.

Applications

The stainless steel component sits in industrial equipment and general assembly work for customers who buy to drawing.

A single design of this stainless steel component is often reused across a product family, so the specification is set by the toughest of them, and the die does not have to change.

Customization and options

Options changed most often

Points customers normally tailor on this stainless steel component: material and coating for the duty, wall bands, flange forms, threads and bosses, closed ends and finishes matched to the working environment, and whether orders run as prototypes, pilot lots or scheduled batches.

Options for this stainless steel component already covered by the die are shown on the quote, so you are not charged twice for a feature the die already makes. The stepped sleeve drawing revision, once signed, governs all later batches.

DesigningMade to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; revisions are re-quoted once rather than silently absorbed.
ToolingProgressive and drawing dies are designed and built in house, so the die charge appears as its own quotation line, and ownership is confirmed on the quotation.
SamplesSample parts are measured and reported before submission, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage.
MaterialsStock runs to carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; special grades are sourced to the drawing when volumes justify.
Surface finishZinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, passivation or e-coat; masking and laser marking available where needed.
ProcessingDeep drawing on hydraulic presses, CNC-finished where tolerances tighten; in-process checks sit between stages, not only at the end.
EquipmentDeep drawing presses plus CNC turning centres for machined faces, with in-house toolmaking to keep dies and fixtures maintained.
Tolerance+/-0.01 mm on sealing faces, +/-0.05 mm on drawn profiles; finer bands confirmed from capability data before quoting.
Delivery termsFOB Ningbo or Shanghai, payment by T/T or L/C, quoted in USD or EUR; call-off schedules are supported.

Packaging and delivery

The finish on this stainless steel component dictates how it is packed: the coating decides whether parts are interleaved, bagged or tray-packed, in sealed export cartons, palletised and marked as you direct.
