Steel Deep Drawn Rectangular Tray with Mounting Flanges

Steel Deep Drawn Rectangular Tray with Mounting Flanges
Steel Deep Drawn Rectangular Tray with Mounting Flanges

A steel rectangular tray with mounting flanges formed around the rim. The tray holds and the flanges fasten – one stamped-and-drawn part replacing a tray plus brackets. Rectangular draws need corner-radius control, which our toolroom handles.

Function and Design

Trays carry and locate. Ours are formed with flanges or rims so contents stay put in transit, and the draw process keeps the floor flat enough for parts to sit square.

What Makes It Work

  • Flange and body are one pressing, which removes a welded joint and a leak path.
  • Full rectangular tray documentation set available: material certs, dimensional reports, first article files.
  • Sample or small trial orders are accepted ahead of production runs.
  • Material: We hold carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print) for rectangular tray production; special grades are sourced to the drawing when volumes justify.
  • Process: the rectangular tray is stamped, formed and pierced in one die sequence, then finished to print, flange trimmed and pierced in-die.
  • Finish: Finish for the rectangular tray is agreed at sample stage and logged on the job card.
  • Size: Every dimension on the rectangular tray comes from your print – the page shows the family only.
  • Custom: Custom work to print for the rectangular tray, with DFM feedback before quotation.

Where It Is Used

Production volumes of this part run in electrical chassis and enclosures, furniture and fixture fittings, appliance brackets and clips.

Our Production Advantage

Production batches of the rectangular tray are gauged back to the signed first article, not to a memory of it. Process settings for the rectangular tray are archived, so later runs can be compared with the one you approved.
