A stainless threaded coupling joining two male-threaded lines. Bore is through-drilled and deburred so flow is unobstructed, and the thread runs full-depth for deep engagement on both sides.
Function and Design
Couplings only work when bores run true to the OD. Ours are machined in one clamping so concentricity is designed in, not inspected in.
What Makes It Work
- Thread form is verified with gauges rather than assumed from the tool.
- Stainless construction means no coating to fail in washdown or humid conditions.
- Trials before volume: small quantities can be run to your drawing first.
- Material: Standard stock covers stainless steel (304 / 316); equivalents are feasibility-checked against your print before quoting.
- Process: CNC turning with drilling and tapping finished on the machining centre for the threaded coupling, thread turning to gauge.
- Finish: Surface treatment for the threaded coupling is picked for its working environment, not from a catalogue.
- Size: To print: threaded coupling diameters, depths and feature positions all follow the drawing.
- Custom: The threaded coupling is made to print – low MOQ on standard items, volume pricing on repeats.
Applications
Typical applications include pneumatic and hydraulic systems, automation and robotics hardware, instrumentation fittings.
Our Production Advantage
We machine in house on maintained turning and milling centres. Inspection is done in a climate-controlled room, and any dimension that drifts stops the machine rather than the shipment.
Request a quote and we will confirm threaded coupling material options, tolerances and tooling cost with real numbers.
