Produced in brass or stainless steel by Aunov Tech, the Stainless steel deep drawn valve tube is formed and machined on the same floor. In service, the CNC machined part delivers the precise turned or milled geometry the assembly mounts to. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, so repeat orders stay aligned with the approved sample without handing the part to another vendor.
Product overview
What matters most on this stainless steel tube is, material grade, wall uniformity and thread position, audited against the approved sample at each production release.
The press shop and machine shop that make this stainless steel tube share one floor, so a change of wall or hole does not restart the programme, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.
How it is manufactured
Production of this stainless steel tube is locked to one route: Coil is blanked and drawn through progressive and single-stage dies; secondary machining holds the seats, threads and faces that forming cannot produce.
The valve tube manufacturing record is archived together with the drawing revision that produced it. Any change to the valve tube drawing is re-approved and re-verified before production continues.
Materials and finishing
Our stock list runs to cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this stainless steel tube is costed in 304 / 316 stainless steel.
Coating selection follows the duty – indoor, outdoor or under-hood: plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The agreed finish for this stainless steel tube travels with the part number on every reorder.
Full documentation set available: material certs, dimensional reports, first article files.
Quality control
The plant is ISO 9001 certified: stock arrivals are checked against mill certificates, a full CMM report approves the first article, and later batches follow the sampling plan agreed at approval. The valve tube first article goes on the CMM, with threads gauged to class. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, and the inspection report ships with each batch.
Applications
This stainless steel tube normally works inside pump, valve and fluid handling assemblies in volume programmes as well as aftermarket supply.
The same stainless steel tube is used across several platforms, so the tightest tolerance in the family sets the spec, and the die does not have to change.
Specifications
| Item | Stainless steel deep drawn valve tube |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Driven by your drawing or a physical sample – unusual walls, threads or tolerances are feasibility-checked first; revisions are re-quoted once rather than silently absorbed. |
| Tooling | Our toolroom covers die design, wire-cut EDM and maintenance, so die cost stays transparent, and the die remains dedicated to your part. |
| Samples | Sample and first article are the same discipline here: measured, reported, then approved. |
| Materials | Materials held include carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; grade and temper are confirmed in writing before tooling. |
| Surface finish | Finish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; masking and laser marking available where needed. |
| Processing | Tube drawing with precision turning on critical diameters; first articles verify the whole flow before the run is released. |
| Equipment | Drawn-tube benches, in-line annealing and CNC turning; first articles and batch samples are checked on the CMM. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.03 mm on machined ends, straightness per print; GD&T per drawing, PPAP-style reports on request. |
| Delivery terms | Delivery quoted per Incoterms 2020 – FOB, CIF or DDP – by sea or air, to your address. |
