Aunov Tech supplies the Oxygen sensor bushings as a stainless steel component manufactured entirely in house. In service, the sensor housing shields the sensing element and positions it in the measured medium. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, which keeps tolerances consistent from sample to volume without a second supplier involved.

Product overview

For this metal sensor, the drawing centres on, the forming route, the tolerance band and the sealing faces, all held to the drawing and verified at first article.

Tooling and finishing for this metal sensor run under one roof, so a change of wall or hole does not restart the programme, with the tooling history retained in house.

How it is manufactured

Every metal sensor follows the same routed path: The shell starts as coil or blank and is drawn through single and progressive dies; the finishing operations hold the concentricity the drawing calls for.

The tooling record is stored against the part number, and that record is what every reorder is built from.

Materials and finishing

Working stock covers SPCC / DC01 carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this metal sensor runs in carbon steel or stainless.

With the working face exposed, the finish is selected for cleanliness: zinc and nickel plating, chrome, anodising, powder coating and passivation. The finish on this metal sensor is locked to the drawing revision, so later orders match.

Each shipment is verified against the master sample, and material certificates are kept per batch.

Quality control and inspection

The plant is ISO 9001 certified: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, the first article is CMM-measured against the print, and later batches follow the sampling plan agreed at approval. The oxygen sensor bushing batch record includes thread gauging and seal face inspection. Where the application asks for it, torque, leak or pressure testing is added to the plan, and the report is packed with the shipment.

Applications

This metal sensor normally works inside temperature sensing and control assemblies for customers who own the drawing and the tooling.

A single design of this metal sensor is often reused across a product family, so a single grade and coating can cover each application, and no re-tooling is needed.

DesigningMade to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; revisions are re-quoted once rather than silently absorbed.
ToolingDies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so a die can be re-cut against the approved drawing, and ownership is confirmed on the quotation.
SamplesPrototype and pre-production samples are provided against the drawing, so the approved first article becomes the gauge reference, and production starts only after your written sign-off.
MaterialsCarbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass are held on site; special grades are sourced to the drawing when volumes justify.
Surface finishFinish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; alternatives quoted with the quotation, samples approved in writing.
ProcessingDeep drawing on hydraulic presses, CNC-finished where tolerances tighten; in-process checks sit between stages, not only at the end.
EquipmentPress line for drawing, CNC cells for finishing, backed by CNC turning centres and a climate-controlled inspection room.
Tolerance+/-0.01 mm on sealing faces, +/-0.05 mm on drawn profiles; dimensional reports accompany the first article.
Delivery termsFOB, CIF or DDP per Incoterms 2020, payment by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P; sea or air freight is quoted to your door.
