Stainless Steel Deep Drawn Cups and Tube Shells

Stainless Steel Deep Drawn Cups and Tube Shells
Stainless Steel Deep Drawn Cups and Tube Shells

Stainless steel cups and tube shells drawn in the same batch – round shells at various depth-to-diameter ratios. Stainless draws harder than steel because it work-hardens fast; our tooling and lubrication handle that, and the shells emerge bright and clean.

Function and Design

A cup looks like the simplest item in a catalogue and is often the most demanding to make consistently. That is why the cup is inspected between operations, not only at the end.

What Makes It Work

  • Stainless throughout, so washdown, humidity and process media are not a problem.
  • Parts are deburred and cleaned before packing, so assembly starts without manual rework.
  • Start with a trial quantity, then scale once the part is approved.
  • Material: We hold stainless steel (304 / 316) for cup production; special grades are sourced to the drawing when volumes justify.
  • Process: deep drawing on 5-250 T presses, with the cup tooling dedicated to your number.
  • Finish: Natural, plated or coated to drawing – the cup finish is approved in writing before production.
  • Size: Cup dimensions follow the print, feature positions held to the drawing tolerances.
  • Custom: OEM/ODM: send the cup drawing, quotation comes back with manufacturability notes.

Where It Is Used

Typical applications include appliance and HVAC assemblies, lighting reflectors and covers, electrical enclosures and junction boxes.

Our Production Advantage

Drawing and annealing windows are set from the drawing, not from habit. Batch records are filed against your part number and kept for repeat orders.

Send the cup drawing or a sample and we return a quotation with material advice and lead time.
