A galvanized steel pan body, drawn then galvanized so every surface including the inside corners carries the zinc layer. Galvanizing after forming beats pre-coated sheet for drawn parts, since drawing would scratch pre-galvanized stock.
Function and Design
Pans contain – liquids, batteries, vibration-dampened parts – and their weak point is always the corners and rim. Drawn pans have formed corners and rolled or finished rims, so what goes in stays in.
Key Features
- Galvanizing after forming protects every surface, inside and out, including where handling scratches it.
- This is the family view; the part you receive follows your drawing.
- Deburred edges and clean surfaces on arrival, ready for your line.
- Material: We hold carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print) for pan body production; special grades are sourced to the drawing when volumes justify.
- Process: draw-and-anneal cycle sized to the pan body depth, blank size logged per run.
- Finish: Standard is hot-dip galvanising; masking and laser marking available where the pan body finish is critical.
- Size: Dimensions of the pan body follow the customer print; specials are quoted from the drawing.
- Custom: Custom work to print for the pan body, with DFM feedback before quotation.
Applications
Production volumes of this part run in automotive sensor and motor housings, electrical enclosures and junction boxes, lighting reflectors and covers.
Why Source It From Aunov
The pan body tool is maintained on stroke count so condition does not drift during production. Batch records are filed against your part number and kept for repeat orders.
