A square steel pan with a center boss, a demanding combination: square corners and a raised hub in one draw. The boss gives a solid mounting point in the pan floor. Geometry like this is where our toolroom earns its keep.
Function and Design
Pans contain – liquids, batteries, vibration-dampened parts – and their weak point is always the corners and rim. Drawn pans have formed corners and rolled or finished rims, so what goes in stays in.
Design Highlights
- Your print governs square pan dimensions and features; the page shows the family.
- Material certs and dimensional reports come with the square pan batch on request.
- Deburring and cleaning happen before packing, so the parts go straight to assembly.
- Material: Standard stock covers carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print); equivalents are feasibility-checked against your print before quoting.
- Process: deep drawing on 5-250 T presses, with the square pan tooling dedicated to your number.
- Finish: Finish for the square pan is agreed at sample stage and logged on the job card.
- Size: Every dimension on the square pan comes from your print – the page shows the family only.
- Custom: OEM/ODM to drawing; free samples of the square pan and a manufacturability review before tooling.
Applications
It earns its place in battery and energy-storage components, appliance and HVAC assemblies, automotive sensor and motor housings.
Our Production Advantage
We draw in house on maintained presses and inspect first articles on the CMM. Batch records are filed against your part number and kept for repeat orders.
Request a quotation and the reply confirms material options, tolerances and tooling cost.
