Steel Deep Drawn Angled Cover with Mounting Holes

Steel Deep Drawn Angled Cover with Mounting Holes

An angled steel cover with pre-pierced mounting holes, drawn and restrikes in sequence so the bend angle and hole positions stay consistent batch to batch. It is typically used to shield exposed actuator or sensor faces while allowing cable entry through one side.

Function and Design

What makes a angled cover hard is repeatability – the hundredth piece has to match the first one. That is why the angled cover is inspected between operations, not only at the end.

What Makes It Work

  • Mounting holes are pierced after forming through position fixtures, so they line up with your pattern without rework.
  • Deburred edges and clean surfaces on arrival, ready for your line.
  • Small orders are welcome – prove the part, then scale.
  • Material: Standard stock covers carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print); equivalents are feasibility-checked against your print before quoting.
  • Process: the angled cover is drawn in house on maintained presses, wall thickness held to the print, burr-free piercing on the second operation.
  • Finish: The angled cover finish is set by the drawing: natural, plated or coated, with masking where required.
  • Size: Size per customer drawing.
  • Custom: OEM/ODM to drawing; free samples of the angled cover and a manufacturability review before tooling.

Applications

Typical applications include automotive sensor and motor housings, appliance and HVAC assemblies, lighting reflectors and covers.

Our Production Advantage

Maintenance on the angled cover die is triggered by stroke count, not by guesswork. Dimensional reports and material certs are issued with the first article.
