Aunov Tech manufactures the Wiper motor frame in stainless steel on a single production floor. In service, the wiper motor housing protects the motor windings while the output shaft takes the wipe load. Die work, machining and CMM inspection are all in-house, so repeat orders stay aligned with the approved sample with no third party in the loop.
Product overview
What defines this metal frame is, wall thinning, concentricity and the finished mating faces, re-checked whenever the drawing is revised.
Die building, pressing and machining for this metal frame are all in house, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, and the same die can be re-cut from the original data.
How it is manufactured
Production follows a defined route: The shell starts as coil or blank and is drawn through single and progressive dies; wall thickness is checked at the thinnest section after forming.
Each shipment is traceable to the signed first article, and the same setup is reused on the next call-off.
Materials and surface finish
Standard stock includes carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and the grade agreed for this metal frame is carbon steel or stainless.
Because the part faces weather and wash cycles, the coating is chosen for durability: electrophoresis, powder coating, anodising and zinc / nickel plating. The agreed finish for this metal frame travels with the part number on every reorder.
Each shipment is verified against the master sample, so the colour and grain of the finish stay stable.
Quality control
The plant is ISO 9001 certified: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, a full CMM report approves the first article, and production batches are inspected on a sampling plan. For the wiper motor housing, output-shaft bore runout is checked on every first article, and seal seats are gauged for burr-free assembly. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, and the inspection report ships with each batch.
Applications
You will find this metal frame inside automotive sub-assemblies and adjacent equipment for customers who buy to drawing.
One drawing for this metal frame is commonly applied to several programmes, so a single grade and coating can cover each application, and no re-tooling is needed.
Specifications
| Item | Wiper motor frame |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Made to your 2D/3D drawings (PDF, DWG, STEP, IGS) – a manufacturability review comes back with the quotation; the same drawing is used for every repeat order. |
| Tooling | Progressive and drawing dies are designed and built in house, so the die charge appears as its own quotation line, and first-article timing is measured from the tooling start date. |
| Samples | Samples are issued for approval before the run, so the sample is retained as the master, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample. |
| Materials | Stock covers carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; the final grade is fixed with the drawing review. |
| Surface finish | Phosphating for coating adhesion, then powder coating, e-coating or zinc plating; chrome and nickel for visible faces. |
| Processing | Coil blanking, progressive drawing through 3-5 stages with anneals between, trim and pierce, then deburr and finish. |
| Equipment | 5-250 T mechanical presses and 250-500 T hydraulic presses, in-line annealing furnace, CNC turning for secondary work. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.1 mm to +/-0.2 mm general; critical features held to the drawing and verified on the first article. |
| Delivery terms | CIF or DDP, with FOB available, payment by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P; repeat orders reuse the approved first article. |
