Aunov Tech manufactures the Wiper motor components in stainless steel on a single production floor. In the assembly, the wiper motor housing protects the motor windings while the output shaft takes the wipe load. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, keeping first-article quality through scheduled runs without handing the part to another vendor.
Product overview
The specification of this metal component turns on, wall thickness control, flange geometry and the sealing surface, recorded on the inspection report for every batch.
Toolroom, presses and machining centres used on this metal component operate on the same site, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.
How it is manufactured
Production follows a defined route: Coil is blanked and then drawn down in successive stages; the finishing operations hold the concentricity the drawing calls for.
Each run is logged against the drawing revision, so process settings are reused rather than re-invented.
Materials and finishing
Standard stock includes cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this metal component is costed in carbon steel or stainless.
Because the part faces weather and wash cycles, the coating is chosen for durability: polishing, plating in zinc, nickel or chrome, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. Once approved, the finish for this metal component is fixed and does not get re-decided.
Every batch is checked against the approved sample, so neither material nor finish drifts between lots.
Quality control
Quality management is certified to ISO 9001: stock arrivals are checked against mill certificates, the CMM measures the first article dimension by dimension, and later batches follow the sampling plan agreed at approval. For the wiper motor housing, output-shaft bore runout is checked on every first article, and seal seats are gauged for burr-free assembly. Tests for torque, leakage or pressure can be arranged when the service demands them, and the inspection report ships with each batch.
Applications
This metal component is used in automotive assemblies and under-hood equipment for OEM and Tier-1 customers.
One drawing for this metal component is commonly applied to several programmes, so one approved version covers the whole range, and approvals carry across programmes.
Specifications
| Item | Wiper motor components |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Your drawing sets the part – a manufacturability review comes back with the quotation; the same drawing is used for every repeat order. |
| Tooling | Tooling is built and held under your part number, so no tooling step is outsourced, and maintenance is tracked against the part number. |
| Samples | First-article samples ship with a dimensional report and material certificate, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and mass production is gated on that approval. |
| Materials | Carbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper – the grade is matched to the duty of this component. |
| Surface finish | Phosphating for coating adhesion, then powder coating, e-coating or zinc plating; chrome and nickel for visible faces. |
| Processing | Coil blanking, progressive drawing through 3-5 stages with anneals between, trim and pierce, then deburr and finish. |
| Equipment | Mechanical presses from 5 to 250 T, hydraulic presses 250-500 T, annealing ovens, plus CNC turning and machining centres. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.05 mm on controlled dimensions and +/-0.1 mm on general features; capability studies supplied on request. |
| Delivery terms | CIF or DDP, with FOB available, T/T or L/C, with D/P accepted on repeat business; repeat orders reuse the approved first article. |
