The Power window regulator motor case is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. In service, the window lift motor housing drives the window regulator gearing and carries the motor internals. The same floor forms, machines and inspects the part, so the approved sample defines every later batch on one production route.
Product overview
What matters most on this metal case is, wall thickness control, flange geometry and the sealing surface, checked by CMM at first article and by gauge in production.
Die building, pressing and machining for this metal case are all in house, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, and the approved sample is kept as the master.
From coil to finished part
Production follows a defined route: Coil is blanked and drawn through progressive and single-stage dies; the finishing operations hold the concentricity the drawing calls for.
Every order keeps its trace back to the approved first article, so process settings are reused rather than re-invented.
Materials and finishing
Everything is drawn from a fixed stock list: carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and this metal case runs in carbon steel or stainless.
The finish is chosen for the duty it will see: plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The agreed finish for this metal case travels with the part number on every reorder.
Each shipment is verified against the master sample, with mill certificates filed per heat.
Quality control
The plant is ISO 9001 certified: incoming material is verified against mill certificates, first-article geometry is confirmed on the CMM, and routine sampling keeps batches aligned with the first article. Part-specific checks apply as well: on the window lift motor housing, gear-bore alignment is checked at first article on a CMM, and noise-critical seats are gauged each run. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, and the report is packed with the shipment.
Typical applications
Typical installation of the metal case is in industrial machinery and equipment assemblies under schedules that run for years at a time.
One drawing for this metal case is commonly applied to several programmes, so wall bands and finishes are selected to cover the widest duty, and the same first article applies throughout.
Specifications
| Item | Power window regulator motor case |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Driven by your drawing or a physical sample – unusual walls, threads or tolerances are feasibility-checked first; revisions are re-quoted once rather than silently absorbed. |
| Tooling | Dies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so die cost stays transparent, and first-article timing is measured from the tooling start date. |
| Samples | Pre-production samples come with a full inspection report, so any deviation is corrected at sample stage, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample. |
| Materials | Stock covers carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; the final grade is fixed with the drawing review. |
| Surface finish | Plating, coating or polishing to suit the drawing – zinc, nickel, chrome, anodising, passivation or e-coat. |
| Processing | Coil blanking, progressive drawing through 3-5 stages with anneals between, trim and pierce, then deburr and finish. |
| Equipment | Mechanical presses from 5 to 250 T, hydraulic presses 250-500 T, annealing ovens, plus CNC turning and machining centres. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.01 mm on turned, milled or ground features; +/-0.03 mm on formed features; critical dimensions 100% gauged. |
| Delivery terms | FOB, CIF or DDP per Incoterms 2020, T/T or L/C, with D/P accepted on repeat business; call-off schedules are supported. |
