Wiper motor body

The Wiper motor body is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. Once installed, the wiper motor housing drives the link and blade assembly through a geared output shaft. One production floor covers forming, finishing and inspection, so first-article dimensions hold through volume batches on one production route.

Product overview

This metal component is defined by, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, all held to the drawing and verified at first article.

The whole route from die to finished metal component stays in house, so a drawing change is absorbed in one step, and the same die can be re-cut from the original data.

How it is manufactured

Production follows a defined route: Coil is blanked and then drawn down in successive stages; the finishing operations hold the concentricity the drawing calls for.

Batch records are filed against the part number, and a reorder is a repeat, not a new start.

Materials and finishing

Standard stock includes carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper with carbon steel or stainless specified on the drawing for this metal component.

Coating selection follows the duty – indoor, outdoor or under-hood: zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The agreed finish for this metal component travels with the part number on every reorder.

The approved sample governs later runs, with mill certificates filed per heat.

Quality control and inspection

Quality management is certified to ISO 9001: material traceability starts with mill certificates, the first article is CMM-measured against the print, and routine sampling keeps batches aligned with the first article. Part-specific checks apply as well: on the wiper motor housing, output-shaft bore runout is checked on every first article, and seal seats are gauged for burr-free assembly. If the assembly calls for torque, leak or pressure proof, the test is built into the quality plan, and results travel with the batch paperwork.

Where the part is used

Typical installation of the metal component is in automotive assemblies and under-hood equipment in both OEM and aftermarket supply.

One drawing for this metal component is commonly applied to several programmes, so the tightest tolerance in the family sets the spec, and the drawing stays common.

DesigningDriven by your drawing or a physical sample – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; the approved drawing is kept as the controlled master.
ToolingTooling is built and held under your part number, so die cost stays transparent, and maintenance is tracked against the part number.
SamplesSamples are issued for approval before the run, so the part is proven before it is made in volume, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample.
MaterialsCarbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper – the grade is matched to the duty of this component.
Surface finishPhosphating for coating adhesion, then powder coating, e-coating or zinc plating; chrome and nickel for visible faces.
ProcessingDeep drawing from coil or blank, with in-process annealing so walls thin evenly; trim, pierce, form and finish.
EquipmentMechanical presses from 5 to 250 T, hydraulic presses 250-500 T, annealing ovens, plus CNC turning and machining centres.
Tolerance+/-0.03 mm on machined features, +/-0.1 mm on formed ones, with first-article inspection report.
Delivery termsFOB, CIF or DDP per Incoterms 2020, payment by T/T or L/C, quoted in USD or EUR; each volume tier carries its own quoted price.
