Assorted Deep Drawn Covers and Housings Zinc Plated
Assorted Deep Drawn Covers and Housings Zinc Plated

Assorted deep drawn covers and housings in zinc plated steel, covering several of our standard tool sizes. Each shell is drawn closed in a single press cycle, which keeps per-piece cost low even at moderate volumes and gives OEM buyers a ready path from sample to mass production.

Function and Design

The cover is small in the bill of materials and large in the warranty claim when it goes wrong. The cover is produced to print, with the features that carry function inspected first.

Key Features

  • This assorted set ships from matched tooling, so the variants share dimensional logic instead of just sharing a box.
  • Zinc plating goes on after forming, so coverage follows every contour – including the corners pre-coated sheet would leave bare.
  • Packing follows deburring and cleaning, so no bench work is needed at your end.
  • Material: The cover is quoted material-agnostic: your drawing picks between steel, stainless, aluminium and brass.
  • Process: multi-stage deep drawing of the cover with interstage annealing as depth requires.
  • Finish: Standard is zinc plating (clear or yellow passivate); masking and laser marking available where the cover finish is critical.
  • Size: Dimensions of the cover follow the customer print, family covers the standard size range; specials are quoted from the drawing.
  • Custom: OEM/ODM cover work – first articles verified before production starts.

Where It Is Used

It earns its place in appliance and HVAC assemblies, automotive sensor and motor housings, battery and energy-storage components.

Our Production Advantage

Tooling for the cover is maintained against stroke count, so it does not drift during a run. First articles are inspected on the CMM, production is sampled against the same dimensions, and any drift stops the press.
