Aunov Tech manufactures the 304 6mm Stainless Steel End Closed Tube for Temperature Sensor NTC in stainless steel on a single production floor. In the assembly, the sensor housing protects the electronics from vibration, fluid and electromagnetic noise. Die work, machining and CMM inspection are all in-house, which keeps tolerances consistent from sample to volume on one production route.
Product overview
The critical features of this stainless steel sensor are, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, re-checked whenever the drawing is revised.
Die building, pressing and machining for this stainless steel sensor are all in house, so the route from print to sample stays short, and the die record stays with your part number.
From coil to finished part
Production follows a defined route: Drawing runs from flat blank to finished envelope in one controlled sequence; secondary machining holds the seats, threads and faces that forming cannot produce.
Every closed-end tube order keeps its trace back to the approved first article, and a reorder is a repeat rather than a new start. The approved closed-end tube sample governs later runs, and any grade change is agreed in writing first.
Materials and finishing
Working stock covers cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze with 304 / 316 stainless steel specified on the drawing for this stainless steel sensor.
With the working face exposed, the finish is selected for cleanliness: zinc and nickel plating, chrome, anodising, powder coating and passivation. The agreed finish for this stainless steel sensor travels with the part number on every reorder.
The closed-end tube tooling and setup record is stored against the part number, so nothing depends on someone remembering. First article, drawing revision and material cert travel with each closed-end tube batch.
Quality control
Quality management is certified to ISO 9001: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, first articles are measured on a CMM, and production batches are inspected on a sampling plan. Every closed-end tube batch carries thread gauging and seal face inspection. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, with certificates included in the shipment file.
Applications
This stainless steel sensor normally works inside temperature sensing and control assemblies in both OEM and aftermarket supply.
One drawing for this stainless steel sensor is commonly applied to several programmes, so the specification is set by the toughest of them, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.
Customization and options
Frequently varied options
Typical decisions customers make on this stainless steel sensor: material grade, wall band, flange shape, thread size and finish for the working environment, and whether the first order is a prototype, a pilot lot or a production release.
Options for this stainless steel sensor already covered by the die are shown on the quote, so there are no surprise tooling charges after approval. Price breaks for the closed-end tube are shown against quantities on the quote.
Specifications
| Item | 304 6mm Stainless Steel End Closed Tube for Temperature Sensor NTC |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Your drawing sets the part – a manufacturability review comes back with the quotation; changes are priced before they are made. |
| Tooling | Progressive and drawing dies are designed and built in house, so no tooling step is outsourced, and ownership is confirmed on the quotation. |
| Samples | Pre-production samples come with a full inspection report, so the part is proven before it is made in volume, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample. |
| Materials | Stainless 304 and 316L, pickled and annealed, 6 mm nominal wall – one grade chosen for corrosion duty and formability of this sensor. |
| Surface finish | Finish selected from the drawing: plating, coating, anodising or passivation; finish thickness and adhesion checked on the first article. |
| Processing | Tube drawing with precision turning on critical diameters; first articles verify the whole flow before the run is released. |
| Equipment | Drawing benches, annealing furnaces and CNC turning for tube ends; secondary ops run on CNC turning centres, inspection on the CMM. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.02 mm on fitted diameters, +/-0.1 mm on formed ends; dimensional reports accompany the first article. |
| Delivery terms | FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, T/T with deposit and L/C for larger runs; price breaks tie to annual volume. |
Packing and shipment
The packing method protects the surfaces of this stainless steel sensor: interleaving, bagging or tray packing is matched to the surface, in sealed cartons on export pallets; shipping documents and carton marks follow your instructions.
