The Stainless steel machining NTC sensor housing is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. On the product, the sensor housing shields the sensing element and positions it in the measured medium. The same floor forms, machines and inspects the part, which keeps tolerances consistent from sample to volume with no third party in the loop.
Product overview
The specification of this stainless steel sensor turns on, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, re-checked whenever the drawing is revised.
The whole route from die to finished stainless steel sensor stays in house, which keeps revision loops short and samples fast, and the same die can be re-cut from the original data.
How it is manufactured
The route for this stainless steel sensor is fixed and repeatable: Machining starts from bar or plate and runs on CNC centres; threads are single-pointed or rolled and seats bored in one setup where possible.
Repeat closed-end housing orders are measured against the approved sample, so neither material nor finish drifts between lots. Mill certificates are filed per heat, so closed-end housing traceability survives a change of material batch.
Materials and finishing
Standard stock includes cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this stainless steel sensor runs in 304 / 316 stainless steel.
The finish is chosen for a clean working surface: zinc and nickel plating, chrome, anodising, powder coating and passivation. Once approved, the finish for this stainless steel sensor is fixed and does not get re-decided.
Route cards follow each closed-end housing batch through the shop, so the next run starts from the data that already worked. Mill certificates are filed per heat, so closed-end housing traceability survives a change of material batch.
Quality control
The factory operates with ISO 9001 certification: mill certificates cover every delivery of stock, first articles are measured on a CMM, and routine sampling keeps batches aligned with the first article. Thread gauging and seal-face checks are part of every closed-end housing batch. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, and the inspection report ships with each batch.
Applications
This stainless steel sensor is used in sensor and thermostat assemblies for customers who buy to drawing.
The same stainless steel sensor is often run in more than one assembly, so one approved version covers the whole range, and the same first article applies throughout.
Customization and options
The options customers tune most
Variations that come up most often on this stainless steel sensor: material and coating for the duty, wall bands, flange forms, threads and bosses, closed ends and finishes matched to the working environment, and whether the first order is a prototype, a pilot lot or a production release.
The quotation for this stainless steel sensor is explicit about what the die already covers, so the boundary between free and chargeable changes is explicit. The closed-end housing quote sets out quantities and price breaks side by side.
Specifications
| Item | Stainless steel machining NTC sensor housing |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | DFM feedback accompanies the quotation, so surprises are caught before the die is cut. |
| Tooling | Tooling is built and held under your part number, so no tooling step is outsourced, and first-article timing is measured from the tooling start date. |
| Samples | Samples are produced on the production tooling, so what you approve is what you get. |
| Materials | Carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass are all held in stock; material substitutes are proposed only with your written approval. |
| Surface finish | Zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, passivation or e-coat; the finish is inspected with the dimensional report on the first article. |
| Processing | Deep drawing followed by CNC finishing on critical faces; first articles verify the whole flow before the run is released. |
| Equipment | Hydraulic drawing presses and CNC lathes for sealing faces, with in-house toolmaking to keep dies and fixtures maintained. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.01 mm on turned or milled features, +/-0.03 mm on formed details; capability is checked on the first article before the run continues. |
| Delivery terms | CIF or DDP, with FOB available, payment by T/T or L/C, quoted in USD or EUR; each volume tier carries its own quoted price. |
Packaging and delivery
This stainless steel sensor is packed to protect the finish: interleaves, polybags or formed trays are selected according to the coating, then cartons are sealed and palletised, with marks and documents as you specify.
