Brass Stepped Cups and Aluminum Tube Assortment

Aunov Tech builds this Custom Stainless Steel Sleeve Sheet Metal Stamping Deep Drawing Metal in stainless steel, from coil or bar through to the finished surfaces. In the assembly, the deep drawn tube carries fluid or motion through a closed drawn wall. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, and a design change is re-sampled in one place under one roof.

Product overview

The drawing for this stainless steel sleeve fixes, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, controlled from the approved first article onward.

The whole route from die to finished stainless steel sleeve stays in house, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, with the tooling history retained in house.

How the part is produced

Every stainless steel sleeve follows the same routed path: Drawing runs from flat blank to finished envelope in one controlled sequence; the part is annealed between stages so the wall thins evenly.

Every stepped cup order keeps its trace back to the approved first article, and a reorder is a repeat rather than a new start. Any change to the stepped cup drawing is re-approved and re-verified before production continues.

Materials and surface finish

Materials kept on the floor cover carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and this stainless steel sleeve runs in 304 / 316 stainless steel.

The finish is chosen for the duty it will see: zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The finish on this stainless steel sleeve is locked to the drawing revision, so later orders match.

Each stepped cup shipment is verified against the master sample before it leaves the shop. Any change to the stepped cup drawing is re-approved and re-verified before production continues.

Quality control

The factory operates with ISO 9001 certification: material traceability starts with mill certificates, first-article geometry is confirmed on the CMM, and run inspections follow an agreed sampling plan. The stepped cup first article records wall thickness along the length. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, with certificates included in the shipment file.

Applications

This stainless steel sleeve is used in industrial and appliance assemblies across automotive, appliance and industrial programmes.

This stainless steel sleeve is supplied to several positions in the same machine, so the finish is chosen to cover the harshest of them, without a second tooling round.

Options and variations

Frequently varied options

Material – carbon steel, stainless, aluminum or brass; finish – plating, anodizing or coating matched to the working environment; features – closed or open ends, wall bands, inside finish ranges, flanges and port features added by secondary ops; lot size – prototypes for validation, then scheduled batches against a call-off.

Tooling impact is stated line by line for each change, making the cost of each choice clear before you commit.
