The Deep Drawing Sheet Metal is produced by Aunov Tech from stainless steel, formed and finished under one roof. In the assembly, the deep drawn part carries the formed geometry the assembly needs at volume. Forming and machining share equipment, staff and batch records, so first-article dimensions hold through volume batches under one roof.

Product overview

For this metal component, the drawing centres on, wall thinning, concentricity and the finished mating faces, checked by CMM at first article and by gauge in production.

The whole route from die to finished metal component stays in house, so a change of wall or hole does not restart the programme, with the tooling history retained in house.

How it is manufactured

The route for this metal component is fixed and repeatable: The drawn envelope is produced in stages with anneals between them; secondary machining holds the seats, threads and faces that forming cannot produce.

Route cards follow each black bracket plate batch through the shop, so the next run starts from the data that already worked. The signed black bracket plate sample remains the reference and is kept with the job file.

Materials and finishing

Everything is drawn from a fixed stock list: cold-rolled steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze with carbon steel or stainless specified on the drawing for this metal component.

Finish selection follows the working environment: zinc and nickel plating, chrome, anodising, powder coating and passivation. It is written into the drawing for this metal component, so it cannot drift between batches.

Each black bracket plate shipment is verified against the master sample before it leaves the shop. The signed black bracket plate sample remains the reference and is kept with the job file.

Quality control

Production runs under an ISO 9001 certified quality system: incoming material is verified against mill certificates, the CMM measures the first article dimension by dimension, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. First article of the black bracket plate: CMM data on diameters, thread class confirmed by gauge. Functional testing – torque, leak or pressure – can be written into the plan, and results travel with the batch paperwork.

Where the part is used

Typical installation of the metal component is in industrial equipment and general assembly work in volume programmes as well as aftermarket supply.

The same metal component is used across several platforms, so wall bands and finishes are selected to cover the widest duty, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.

Customization and options

Frequently varied options in this black bracket plate family

The parts of the print for this metal component that get adjusted: grade and finish for the environment, wall thickness bands, flange and rim forms, threads, bosses and closed ends, and how the order is released – sample, pilot run or scheduled call-off.

The quotation for this metal component is explicit about what the die already covers, so there are no surprise tooling charges after approval. Once approved, the revised black bracket plate drawing becomes the new master.

DesigningYour drawing sets the part – DFM notes are returned before any tooling is cut; the same drawing is used for every repeat order.
ToolingDies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so die cost stays transparent, and maintenance is tracked against the part number.
SamplesApproval is in writing, and the signed sample is kept as the reference for repeats.
MaterialsStock covers carbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; material substitutes are proposed only with your written approval.
Surface finishZinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, passivation or e-coat; the agreed finish travels with the part number.
ProcessingProgressive die stamping, trimmed and formed in one pass; first articles verify the whole flow before the run is released.
EquipmentPress shop with 5-250 T mechanical presses and dedicated dies, with CNC turning centres for secondary operations and CMM inspection.
Tolerance+/-0.05 mm on formed features, +/-0.1 mm on overall length; critical dimensions carry CMM data with the shipment.

Packaging and delivery

Packing for this metal component is chosen around the coating: the coating decides whether parts are interleaved, bagged or tray-packed, in sealed cartons on export pallets, documented and marked to your instruction.
