Aunov Tech manufactures the Custom sheet metal deep drawing 50mm stainless steel sleeve for in stainless steel on a single production floor. In duty, the deep drawn tube guides or contains the mating part along its bore. The same floor forms, machines and inspects the part, so repeat orders stay aligned with the approved sample on one production route.

Product overview

This stainless steel sleeve is defined by, wall thinning, concentricity and the finished mating faces, audited against the approved sample at each production release.

The press shop and machine shop that make this stainless steel sleeve share one floor, so a change of wall or hole does not restart the programme, and the die record stays with your part number.

How it is manufactured

The route for this stainless steel sleeve is fixed and repeatable: The drawn envelope is produced in stages with anneals between them; after drawing, critical faces are machined and the part is degreased and gauged.

The closed tube tooling and setup record is stored against the part number, so nothing depends on someone remembering. The signed closed tube sample remains the reference and is kept with the job file.

Materials and finishing

Base materials in stock: SPCC / DC01 carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze and this stainless steel sleeve is costed in 304 / 316 stainless steel.

Coating and polishing are matched to the end use: plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The finish on this stainless steel sleeve is locked to the drawing revision, so later orders match.

Each shipment is verified against the master sample, and material certificates are kept per batch.

Quality control and inspection

An ISO 9001 certified system governs production: material traceability starts with mill certificates, first articles are measured on a CMM, and every production run is inspected against the first-article report. Wall thickness on the closed tube is checked at first article, not assumed. Where the application asks for it, torque, leak or pressure testing is added to the plan, and the inspection report ships with each batch.

Typical applications

This stainless steel sleeve normally works inside industrial and appliance assemblies in both OEM and aftermarket supply.

One part number for this stainless steel sleeve frequently serves several assemblies, so one approved version covers the whole range, and cost per piece stays at the volume tier.

Options and variations

The options customers tune most

Typical customer decisions: material and coating for the duty, closed or open ends, wall bands, inside finish ranges, flanges and port features added by secondary ops, and whether orders run as prototypes, pilot lots or scheduled batches.

Every change is quoted with its tooling consequence shown, keeping the trade-offs visible from the start.

DesigningQuotation follows the print, not a catalogue – unusual walls, threads or tolerances are feasibility-checked first; the same drawing is used for every repeat order.
ToolingDie design and toolmaking stay in house, so the die charge appears as its own quotation line, and the die remains dedicated to your part.
SamplesSample parts are measured and reported before submission, so the sample is retained as the master, and later batches are gauged back to the signed sample.
MaterialsStainless 304 and 316L, pickled and annealed, 50 mm nominal wall – one grade chosen for corrosion duty and formability of this sleeve.
Surface finishPlating, coating or polishing to suit the drawing; finish thickness and adhesion checked on the first article.
ProcessingDrawn-tube process with in-line annealing and finish turning; batch records are filed so a repeat order starts from approved data.
EquipmentTube drawing benches with in-line annealing furnaces; secondary ops run on CNC turning centres, inspection on the CMM.
Tolerance+/-0.05 mm on bore, wall thickness band confirmed at first article; capability is checked on the first article before the run continues.
Delivery termsTerms are FOB by default, with CIF and DDP quoted on request and freight priced to your door.

Packaging and delivery

Packaging protects the finished surfaces of this stainless steel sleeve: the coating decides whether parts are interleaved, bagged or tray-packed, in sealed export cartons, palletised and marked as you direct.
