Aluminum turned flanges paired with steel machined fittings from one order. Running both metals in-house keeps finish and thread quality consistent across your assembly, and lets us advise where each material earns its cost.
Function and Design
A turned flange carries one job in the assembly, and every tolerance on it exists to protect that job. Tolerances that matter are confirmed with capability data before the turned flange is quoted.
Key Features
- Flange and body are one pressing, which removes a welded joint and a leak path.
- Volume runs are priced against in-house tooling and dedicated capacity.
- Cleaning and deburring are part of the process, not an afterthought at packing.
- Material: For the turned flange we default to carbon steel (SPCC / DC01 or to print); the grade is locked before tooling starts.
- Process: turn-mill machining: the turned flange is turned, then cross-drilled and milled to print, flange trimmed and pierced in-die.
- Finish: Surface treatment is chosen for the duty the turned flange sees: plated, coated or natural per print.
- Size: Turned flange size to drawing, with the agreed version governing every later batch.
- Custom: Send the turned flange drawing for a quotation with sample lead time and material options.
Applications
Production volumes of this part run in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pump and valve assemblies, instrumentation fittings.
Our Production Advantage
First articles are inspected on the CMM before a batch is released. First articles on the CMM, production sampled against the same dimensions, and dimensional reports with material certs where PPAP levels are required.
