Produced in stainless steel by Aunov Tech, the Custom Multi-Material CNC Machined Plates and Blocks is formed and machined on the same floor. In duty, the CNC machined part provides the finished surfaces, threads and seats the mating parts locate on. Drawing, cutting and measurement sit on one floor, so the approved sample defines every later batch without handing the part to another vendor.
Product overview
What defines this metal plate is, the formed envelope, flatness and hole location, controlled from the approved first article onward.
Die building, pressing and machining for this metal plate are all in house, which keeps the sample loop inside our own schedule, and nothing about the route depends on a third party.
How it is manufactured
The process for this metal plate runs in a fixed sequence: Bar and plate are cut on CNC turning and milling centres; threads are single-pointed or rolled and seats bored in one setup where possible.
The milled block manufacturing record is archived together with the drawing revision that produced it. Any change to the milled block drawing is re-approved and re-verified before production continues.
Materials and surface finish
Base materials in stock: carbon steel SPCC / DC01, 304 and 316 stainless, aluminium, brass and copper and this metal plate runs in carbon steel or stainless.
Finish selection follows the working environment: zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, powder coating, electrophoresis and passivation. The finish on this metal plate is locked to the drawing revision, so later orders match.
Every milled block order keeps its trace back to the approved first article, and a reorder is a repeat rather than a new start. Process settings for the milled block are archived, so later runs can be compared with the one you approved.
Quality control
Production runs under an ISO 9001 certified quality system: certificates verify each incoming batch of material, first articles are measured on a CMM, and routine sampling keeps batches aligned with the first article. First articles of the milled block are CMM measured, with threads gauged to class and diameters recorded. Torque, leak and pressure tests are available where the assembly needs them, and results travel with the batch paperwork.
Applications
The metal plate is specified into industrial machinery and equipment assemblies across automotive, appliance and industrial programmes.
The same metal plate is used across several platforms, so the specification is set by the toughest of them, and the drawing stays common.
Options and variations
Options changed most often
Material – carbon steel, stainless, aluminum or brass; finish – plating, anodizing or coating matched to the working environment; features – thread classes, seat finishes, milled features, cross-holes and plating or anodizing to the print; lot size – prototypes for validation, then scheduled batches against a call-off.
Every change is quoted with its tooling consequence shown, so nothing hidden appears later in the project.
Specifications
| Item | Custom Multi-Material CNC Machined Plates and Blocks |
|---|---|
| Brand | AUNOV |
| Designing | Quotation follows the print, not a catalogue – samples are reverse-measured into a controlled drawing; changes are priced before they are made. |
| Tooling | Dies, fixtures and gauges are made in our own toolroom, so die cost stays transparent, and ownership is confirmed on the quotation. |
| Samples | Pre-production samples come with a full inspection report, so the part is proven before it is made in volume, and production starts only after your written sign-off. |
| Materials | Stock covers carbon steel (SPCC / DC01), 304 / 316 stainless, aluminium and brass; mill certificates and heat numbers accompany the first article. |
| Surface finish | Zinc, nickel or chrome plating, anodising, passivation or e-coat; the agreed finish travels with the part number. |
| Processing | CNC turning with milling and drilling in as few setups as the geometry allows; batch records are filed so a repeat order starts from approved data. |
| Equipment | CNC turning centres with bar feeders and 3-/4-axis machining centres, with CNC turning centres for secondary operations and CMM inspection. |
| Tolerance | +/-0.01 mm on ground diameters, with GD&T taken from your print; capability is checked on the first article before the run continues. |
| Delivery terms | FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, T/T or L/C, with D/P accepted on repeat business; each volume tier carries its own quoted price. |
Packing and shipment
For this metal plate, protection starts at the surface: interleaving, individual bags or trays are chosen by finish type, in sealed cartons on export pallets; shipping documents and carton marks follow your instructions.
