Aunov Tech manufactures deep drawn parts, metal stampings and CNC-machined components in Hangzhou, China. Below are the questions our engineers are asked most often by buyers and design teams. Cannot find your answer? Send us your drawing and we will reply within 24 hours.
What is deep drawing?
Deep drawing is a sheet-metal forming process in which a flat blank is pulled into a die by a punch, producing a seamless hollow shell with no weld seam. At Aunov Tech we draw shells from coil between 0.3 mm and 3.0 mm thick, with diameters up to 300 mm and draw ratios beyond 2:1.

What materials can you deep draw and stamp?
Mill-certified stainless steel, low-carbon steel, aluminium, brass, bronze and copper. Every incoming coil is selected for formability and comes with a mill certificate, so the material grade on your drawing is the grade that ships.

What tolerances can Aunov Tech hold?
Typical production tolerances run from +/−0.01 mm to +/−0.05 mm depending on diameter, wall thickness and material. Tolerances are agreed at quoting stage and verified with CMM and vision inspection before shipment.

Do you make your own tooling?
Yes. Dies are designed in CAD by our own tool and die engineers, cut on our own machines and proven on our own presses. Because tooling never leaves the building, we control the ramp-up and can iterate on a die without waiting on a third party.

What information do you need to quote a part?
A drawing is ideal, but a dimensional sketch is enough to start. Useful extras are material and thickness, surface finish, annual quantity and any assembly context. Send the file through the quote form and our engineers — not a salesperson — review it.

How long does production take?
Production is usually completed within 30 days after receipt of the 30% down payment, once tooling is proven and samples are approved. Tooling lead time depends on part complexity and is quoted separately from the per-piece price.

What are your payment terms?
First orders: 30% T/T in advance with the balance against a copy of the B/L, or L/C. For repeat customers, T/T, L/C and D/P are all workable.

Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Drawings are treated as confidential and are never shared outside the engineering team. We sign NDAs on request before you send a file.

What quality system and inspection do you operate?
Aunov Tech works to an ISO 9001 quality system and is RoHS compliant. In-house inspection includes CMM, vision inspection, salt-spray testing and metallographic labs, with PPAP documentation available when your programme requires it.

Which industries do you supply?
Automotive motor components, sensor housings, valve and tube parts, electrical and switchgear housings, and general industrial stampings. Most programmes start as a drawing and a target price.
